The demise of Dark Queen Apparel has been a long time coming. It's very unfortunate and all my best efforts to keep it alive have failed.

I began Dark Queen Apparel several years ago with the promise to provide unique, one-of-a-kind, heavy metal, and horror apparel not otherwise available for classy women. The trend caught on quick. At the time I was one of only a few that offered the sensational attire. Each of us DIY (Do It Yourself) Sellers had our own style and genre of music that we catered to. Within a couple of years several more DIYers came onto the scene and the original few began to lose business to the ones that were using bootlegged shirts and sweatshopping the reconstruction. It became frustrating more recently when the sellers from Thailand began listing their items on Buy it Now auctions at a lower price than the cost of one licensed shirt. I could no longer compete. While all this was happening, eBay continued to raise their fees and continually remove my listings even though I used nothing but authentic, licensed materials. The final straw was a removal of a licensed Michael Jackson shirt along with a 7 day supension. I had had it!

So, on to new endeavors. I am still the Dark Queen! I still live for Metal and Horror and plan on attending concerts and event that offer such. I will just be selling different items on eBay and, eventually, my homesite. In the coming weeks you will find new items listed that I hope will keep you coming back for more. I will not stick to selling any one particular item so please check back frequently for newly listed items.

I will truly miss Dark Queen Apparel and it's been a real pleasure serving all of you wonderful clients!
