A.W. Storm Anderson - Artist & Warlock

FacebookInstagramTwitterYouTube

From very early on the talents of A.W. Storm Anderson were supported and encouraged by his parents until they grew into a skill that he's passionate about everyday. During his time at Idaho State University, where he studied Fine Arts, Storm was featured in two university gallery exhibitions; “Progressions Through My Dreams at ISU” in the Mind’s Eye Gallery, October, 1997, and “eXperience, eXperimental, eXpression,” with Laura Zuber in the John B. Davis Gallery, 1999 ce.
In 2001 Storm moved to the Salt Lake Valley where he met the love of his life, fellow lover of Horror, Extreme Halloween Enthusiast, and maker of Magic, Priestess Renée, who encouraged him to utilize his art background as a Tattoo Artist. Storm apprenticed under Jason "Knox" Besendorfer, then worked and managed for nearly five years at Attatude Tattoo in Salt Lake City. Art on You Studios was opened on October 17, 2009 by Storm and Renée and was successfully operated for over a decade. Storm has since been an accomplished Artist, Entrepreneur, Community Leader, and Warlock. He and his remarkable Wife, Priestess Renée also became known as "The King and Queen of Halloween" due to being Extreme Halloween Ethusiasts, their "Halloween House", spearheading the Halloween in Summer Festival, hosting the annual "Trick-or-Treating on Historic Magna Main", and even having the AoY logo with a jack-o-lantern for the "o" and the shop having year-round Halloween elements at that time. Storm describes his style as, "Wonderfully Witchy and Beautifully Dark Tattoo Art from a Shadowed Realm". And that aesthetic can clearly be seen consistently in the black and grey flesh artworks he produces for his Clients and Collectors. Art on You, located inside Priestess Renee's Witchcraft District Bazaar, is Storm's private, appointment only space he calls, "The Warlock's Lair".  For more information on appointments, setting an appointment, and preparing for your tattoo, please go to the Appointments page.
